The Windsor and Essex County Smart Community involves a not-for-profit joint venture of duly incorporated, registered Canadian corporations that collectively govern Connecting Windsor-Essex™ as a project of their business relationships (herein referred to as the “Participants”).

Participants shall not be liable for the cost of procurement of substitute goods, services or technology and in no event shall Participants liability exceed the greater of one Canadian dollar ($1.00), or any amounts actually paid to a Participant and related exclusively to the Website and its’ Applications. No action, regardless of form, arising out of policy or action governing the Website and its’ Applications, may be brought by anyone more than one (1) year after the event which gave rise to the cause of action that occurred. Some jurisdictions do not allow a limitation on liability for negligence that causes death or personal injury, and in such jurisdictions, liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by Canadian law.
All Participants are committed to respecting privacy and the protection of personal identifying information. This site does not collect personal information that identifies individuals except when you provide such specific information on a voluntary basis.
